COUNSELING INFERTILITY

The most important part of the treatment is infertility counseling. On the first appointment, counseling is usually done with the couples together. The couples must bring all of their past reports on this day and their necessary investigations will be decided accordingly. It looks into the past history of menstrual cycle particularly in female, food pattern, work type, family history, childhood infection, behavioral pattern, stress, surgery, consumption of alcohol and smoking in both the partners. A detailed past medical history is also obtained during counseling.

Any investigations concerning infertility done within the parameters will be considered. On this day the female partner will undergo general physical and pelvic examination.
